The platform includes two key tools:
- Influencer Search: Discovers content creators across YouTube, Instagram, Twitch, and TikTok and offers extensive filtering options to find the perfect match for your brand.
- Influencer Performance Metrics: Provides detailed statistics for each influencer, including cost-per-mille (CPM) rates and engagement data—helping you evaluate potential partnerships based on projected performance.

How to use Influencer Analytics
Follow these simple steps to find relevant creators and set up your campaigns in the tool.
Access the Tool
Open the Influencer Analytics page from the Social Media Toolkit in the left-hand menu on Semrush.com.
Click ‘Get Started’ and you’ll be redirected to the sign-up page based on your current Semrush subscription status.
Influencer Search on YouTube
Influencer Search lets you discover content creators for your campaigns.
Start by entering your target keyword.
Click ‘Search’ and the tool will generate a list of influencers for your category.
You can then narrow down your search by applying filters for the:
- Influencer's country
- Language
- Audience size
- Demographic
- Performance factors
- Budget for sponsored content
Influencer Performance Metrics on YouTube
You can then click on each profile to see full performance metrics and other important details about the creator.
For example, you can analyze key statistics like total subscribers, number of videos, average views per video, engagement rate, and estimated sponsorship costs.
Additionally, the engagement breakdown provides insights into key metrics such as likes per 1,000 views, comments per 10,000 views, and views per subscriber.
A channel quality score is also included to give a quick assessment of overall engagement and activity.
Further down, you can explore historical growth trends, including subscriber count and total channel views over time.
This data allows for a better understanding of a creator’s audience growth and consistency in performance.
Audience demographics, such as language distribution and gender breakdown, provide deeper insights into the creator’s follower base.
The platform also includes a content section, where you can analyze the creator’s latest videos, sorted by views, engagement, or recency.
Finally, the mentions section lists the brands, apps, and websites that a creator has referenced in their content.
This includes both organic mentions and paid sponsorships, helping you understand past collaborations and potential advertising opportunities.
Exploring Other Channels
To switch between social media channels, click the platform of your choice at the top of the screen.
If you want to find creators for Instagram, TikTok, or Twitch, the platform will redirect you to the Influencer Analytics tool in the App Center.
Other platforms will soon be accessible through the main platform on Semrush.com.
Influencer Search on Other Channels
Once you get redirected to the app, you can find more influencers using various search and filtering options.
You can also input the influencer’s name directly in the tool.
First, filter influencers by specifying their location, audience size, pricing, etc.
There’s an option to save particular filter choices if you frequently use the same filters or if you wish to return to a specific search in the future.
This Save selection feature is available throughout the app where filtered searches are involved.
Not sure which filters to use?
Try the AI-powered search to find highly specific influencers.
Enter a simple description of the influencers you’re looking for and click ‘Create magic.’
The tool will come up with a customized list of creators based on your request.
Finally, revise your customized list of influencers.
Sort them by price, number of subscribers, or views, and review other metrics like the quality score and last video upload date.
You can save the influencers that seem interesting to a thematic list by checking the boxes next to each profile and clicking the ‘Add to list’ button in the bottom-right corner.
You can also click the bookmark icon next to an influencer’s profile to save them directly.
All influencers added to the lists are stored in the Lists tab at the top of the app for quick access.
To see the lists you’ve created and download them in .xlsx format, go to Lists and click the download icon.
Influencer Performance Metrics on Other Channels
Want to learn more about an influencer that caught your eye?
Click on a particular influencer and the tool will take you to their profile page.
Here you can find useful information such as:
- Channel Quality – An overall rating based on audience engagement, activity levels, and content performance
- Activity Insights – Recent posting frequency, average likes, comments, and audience interaction levels
- Cost Estimates – Estimated price range for collaborations, including CPM (cost per thousand views)
- Channel Statistics – Number of subscribers, average views, engagement rates, and interaction levels
- Content Analytics – Performance of past posts, including like and comment distribution, engagement benchmarks, and audience activity
- Hashtags and Categories – Popular hashtags used by the influencer and content category breakdown
- Mentions and Collaborations – Links to brands, campaigns, or other influencers they’ve engaged with

Campaign Management
The Campaign Management add-on comes at $69/month on top of your Influencer Analytics subscription.
It lets you run campaigns with influencers from start to finish, evaluate the results, and track the performance in real time.
From the main Campaign Management page, you can see:
- Folders that you organize to manage your influencer marketing campaigns
- Active and archived campaigns
You can also add folders and create new campaigns right away.
You can also create campaigns within folders.
When setting up a new campaign, you can:
- Define the campaign description and expected results
- Add expected budget and campaign dates
- Specify requirements to generate reports
- Create custom statuses for influencers, content drafts, and client decisions
- Add custom format types to manage influencer content within the campaign
Once you’re done setting up the campaign, the tool will send you to the campaign management space.
Here you’ll be able to see the key details about your campaign and track your efforts. You’ll access:
- Campaign overview: Shows start/end dates, influencers involved, views, and budget usage
- Influencers: Displays influencer status (Live, Rejected), followers, average views, and engagement rate
- Budget and ROI: Tracks costs, revenue, total spend, and return on investment.
- Client decisions and Remarks: Approvals, rejections, and notes on performance
- Performance metrics: Includes CPM trends, content views, and financial breakdown (sourced from campaign data, influencer posts, and user-entered budget details)
You can also choose between the Influencers, Drafts, Content, and Report tabs.
You can also add specific influencers or lists of influencers you have previously created in the Lists tab.
Want to import influencers and content from a file? You can do this within the same tool tab, working with the following file formats: .xls, .xlsx, .ods, and .csv.
Navigate to the Influencers or Content tabs, depending on the type of data you are importing. Click on the “Import” button and upload your file.
Note that the file you upload should contain valid URLs for the app to integrate the data accurately.
Competitor Analysis
The Campaign Management add-on comes at $129/month on top of your Influencer Analytics subscription.
It provides insights into app and brand marketing strategies by analyzing influencer mentions on platforms like YouTube and Twitch.
Use it to understand how your competitors promote their products through influencer collaborations.
The Discover Apps feature identifies apps from the App Store and Google Play mentioned by YouTube influencers and Twitch streamers. It lets you:
- View detailed reports on total mentions, views, and estimated ad budgets.
- Explore trends through videos, influencer data, and engagement analytics.
Clicking on the specific app will take you to the detailed report on it.
The Statistics for All Time chart shows the data on the total number of influencers who have mentioned the app, the total number of views, the approximate advertising budget, etc.
You can switch between the Explore, Videos, and Influencers tabs (for YouTube influencers) and Explore, Streams, and Streamers (for Twitch streamers) to see more insights, including the app mention dynamics, geography, calendar, publication examples, etc.
The Discover Brands feature contains websites that were mentioned by YouTube influencers and Twitch streamers. You can:
- Track brand mentions across influencer content to analyze marketing efforts
- Get insights into competitor advertising budgets, influencer partnerships, and campaign reach
- See trends over time, including geographic distribution and mention frequency
Clicking on the specific site will take you to the detailed report on it.
From there, the functionality is similar to that of the Applications tab.
