NP Digital partnered with the CNN marketing teams to develop a holistic SEO and content strategy. Our efforts encompassed in-depth research, on-page optimization, targeted content development, best practice workshops, and the implementation of technical SEO best practices at scale.

Resultado

We hit our goal of 1 billion pageviews in early November, over a full month ahead of schedule. 50% of all pageviews originated from the organic search channel, a 91% increase in organic pageviews. 77,500 keywords were now ranking in the top 10 positions on Google, up 19%.

Reto

Almost overnight, most of UTI’s national organic rankings were immediately pushed down the result’s page (often below the fold), causing significant decreases in organic sessions and new student inquiries from organic search across all UTI’s Core programs.

Solución

Our efforts encompassed in-depth research, on-page optimization, targeted content development, Google Business Profile optimization, digital PR, local citation building and the implementation of technical SEO best practices. We implemented our proprietary “6Rs” Content Audit methodology.

Resultado

In under 3 months, total organic sessions and inquiries bounced back, above pre-Google update levels. Our focus on local results and their associated pages increased organic search inquiries by +18% year-over-year. Organic search sessions increased by 411% year-over-year.

SoFi.com had almost no “investing” brand recognition or visibility because Invest was a relatively new product category. The SoFi website simply did not have the content depth required to meet the needs of users and the potential customers that were actively searching online.

Organic search took the top spot as the number one traffic driving channel and became the largest contributor to traffic. 509% increase in organic search sessions. 22,337 new funded accounts coming from the organic search channel. 605 new position 1-3 rankings for critical non-branded keywords
